Client Reviews
—— Client A (New Immigrant • Family Relationships & Immigrant Adaptation)
"My husband and I immigrated here a few years ago and later welcomed our baby. Back in Hong Kong, our life was fast-paced and vibrant, but relatively stress-free. Now, as a family of three, navigating changes in our living and working environments, identity shifts, and financial pressures, we often felt like we couldn't find an outlet to release our stress. After meeting with the counsellor, we realized how deeply we actually love and want to protect each other. The counsellor precisely identified the core issues within our marriage and how these pressures were impacting our home, guiding us to try different communication methods. It also helped me understand my husband's perspective so much more... I truly hope that moving forward, we will find our way to communicate well and build a beautiful life together."
—— Client B (New Father • Family Transition & Stress Management)
"I have always been someone who is not articulate and struggles to express my inner feelings. Compounded by moving to a new country, facing career and financial pressures, and welcoming a newborn into our family, the stress became overwhelming, and I just couldn't find peace.I am incredibly grateful for that 50-minute counselling session. The process felt like finding the source of a massive, tightly wound knot in my mind, allowing me to finally untangle and address it. The counsellor helped me view my problems from an entirely new perspective, which truly untied the heavy emotional knots I had been carrying for so long."
—— Client C (Vancouver Resident • Emotional Support & Inner Healing)
"To be honest, I struggled for a long time before booking my first session. I was terrified that opening up about my dark side and negative energy would lead to being judged or dismissed as unreasonable. But within the first few minutes of our very first session, I knew my worries were completely unfounded. The counsellor is incredibly warm and completely free of any condescending professional ego; instead, it felt like talking to a deeply understanding friend who patiently and calmly accepted all my emotions. What surprised me most was that even though I thought the first session would just be basic intake, I walked away with immense clarity and a real sense of direction. It loosened a huge weight off my chest. That sense of safety—knowing someone truly gets you without any judgment—is truly beyond words."
—— Client D (Burnaby Resident • Personal Growth & Self-Exploration)
"My thoughts are usually very cluttered, and I often have so many emotions bottled up in my chest that even I don't know what I want. The counsellor's greatest strength is a sharp, intuitive professional ability to see the blind spots that I had been blind to, or simply choosing to avoid.Throughout the process, the counsellor gently helped me put my vague, unvoiced pain and needs into clear words. Hearing my inner struggles precisely articulated in just a couple of sentences brought tears to my eyes—because even I hadn't been that honest with myself. The counsellor guided me out of my dead-end thoughts and helped me view the whole situation from a much broader, healthier perspective."
—— Client E (New Immigrant • Career Stress Management )
"I had tried therapy before, but the experiences felt somewhat formulaic, as if the therapist was just rigidly following a textbook. The experience here was completely different. The counsellor is exceptionally professional and tailored the entire therapeutic approach to fit my most urgent needs and mental state at that exact moment.Sometimes when I just needed an emotional release, I was given 100% space to vent; other times, when I wanted to rationally untangle a deadlock between family and work, the counsellor flexibly provided practical communication tools and psychological exercises that fit my life rhythm as a new immigrant. This highly customized yet warm and accessible guidance made me feel that every session was worth every penny."
